Trade Fair

The Trade Fair will be on site at the end of the Summer School. This will be open to visitors on Saturday 22nd August and open to students-only on Friday 21st August (evening). There will also be a Fleece Fair (further information here).

The John Dunsmore Nepalese Textile Trust
The Trust supports weavers, knitters and embroiderers who live in remote areas of Nepal. To fund our work we will be selling handwoven tablecloths, mats, handtowels, knitted scarves and shawls made from the Himalayan giant nettle together with embroideries created by women from our most recent project in Santang. www.nepalesenettle.org

I am a small-scale dyer and textile artist. I will be bringing one-off skeins for adding interest to weaving and embroidery, as well as my range of textile jewellery, scarves woven on a scarf loom, and other examples of my textile art.
